Checking relevancy
To check whether the information you have found is really relevant ask:
Does the information cover the topic in enough depth or is it about side issues?
Is the information appropriate for the particular type of assignment?
Is the language in a text too scientific or technical or too basic?
Are the places and time periods specified in your assignment covered?
Does the information come from the correct source if it is required such as primary source material?
