Spoken presentation

Visual material can enhance your presentation by clearly illustrating the points on which you are talking. Examples can be:

• Posters or photographs that provide a message about the main topic. An example could be a poster from the Victorian Workcover Authority about safe workplaces.

• Graphs and tables - for showing data or figures.

• Flowcharts - for showing a process.

• Slides - can show a place such as an office or factory.

• Excerpts from a video or DVD to add sound and colour.
