Using Presentation Software
This type of software (e.g. Microsoft Powerpoint™) usually provides a range of templates that you can use. The key points to remember are:
One idea for each slide.
Maximum of six lines and six to eight words per line.
Use a simple font and type the headings in a larger size.
Use dot points to add structure.
Use the slide transition effects but do not let these take over the presentation.
Tip: Print the slides from your presentation to use as handouts. Participants may find them useful for writing notes.
